As part of a technical test for the studio « Piece of Cake, » I was asked to create a fantastical medieval tower in a stylized art direction.
• One of the biggest constraints was to create a model between 3000 and 4000 triangles, which was a real challenge successfully accomplished in Maya (3948 tris).
• Another significant constraint was to create a hand-painted, colorful, and stylized texturing, which I achieved using Clip Studio, Zbrush, and Substance Designer.
So here is my V1 of the medieval tower, which I plan to rework later to better match my style.
